Our Field Trip ~ Battle Of Columbia

 Yesterday our family went to Columbia for a field trip. They were holding the yearly Battle for Columbia. Every year they do a re-enactment of a small battle that was part of the Civil War. Chad enjoys learning about the different wars of our country. Because of that,  we have been learning about miscellaneous wars as a "side" study. ( in addition to his normal social studies curriculum.) We had beautiful weather for the adventure and we were mighty thankful for that. Posted are some pictures of our day ~
